Holiday Craft Faire Information

2nd Annual RHS Holiday Craft Faire

Saturday, November 17, 2012

9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Location: Rocklin High School, 5301 Victory Lane, Rocklin CA 95765

Application Deadline: Friday, November 16, 2012. Please pass on this information to other vendors who might like to attend. All applications received after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list.

About the Faire: This is our 3rd year of an expected, long-running tradition in the community that is the main fundraiser for Rocklin High School’s Boys and Girls golf programs. Last year we advertised on radio, television, the internet, in newspapers, through flyers distributed at local businesses, as well as contacting through district publications almost 20,000 parents and family members of Rocklin students. We will continually build on this process to ensure there is a large volume of customers for you, our valued vendors. There will be a raffle, food, music, arts, crafts and refreshments for vendors in the morning during set-up. Help with set-up, bathroom coverage all day, and break down from RHS golfers will also be available.

Raffle Donation: We request that each crafter donate a craft item, or coupon, valued at $10-$15 for our prize drawings (this is good advertisement for you as well). Members of the golf team will be by to pick up your donation on the morning of the show.

Booth Space Availability: Two connected gymnasiums will be well decorated and will provide choices of indoor booths to fit each vendor’s needs, along with planning to avoid vendors with similar crafts being placed next to each other.

Booth Sizes: All booths are indoors and will be offered in 8’x8’ ($55) and 10’x10’ ($65) sizes. Up to two chairs will be provided at no charge, and one table per booth (8x8) and two tables (10x10) will be available for $10 each if requested in advance.

Electricity: Electricity will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for an additional $5 charge (see application). However, vendors must provide their own 3-pronged, grounded extension cord in good condition.

Parking: There will be parking spaces for vendors only. One parking permit per vendor will be provided and needs to be prominently displayed.

Food:  A variety of food vendors will also be invited to provide customers and vendors with the opportunity to purchase lunch, etc.

Rules:
1) Set-up is from 6:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. All booths must be completely set up no later than 8:45 a.m. RHS golfers will be available to assist with this process.
2) Break down does not begin until 4 p.m. Crafters who are not set up by 8:45 a.m. or break down before 4 p.m. may face a one-year exemption.
3) Do not place tape or otherwise attach any signs or fixtures to walls, windows, doors or any building structure. NO EXCEPTIONS!
4) Only mainly handcrafted items (made by seller) are permitted to be sold.
5) Photos of booths and crafts are requested but not mandatory. However, photos will weigh heavily in determining selection for the faire and booth placement in high-visibility locations. All attempts are made to select a limited number of like or similar items to ensure a quality show.
6) There will be no refunds after your check is cashed or the deadline.
7) All vendors must provide a reseller’s permit number, (see application) in order to participate. If more than one crafter per space, each crafter must have their own number
8) NO TOBACCO OR PETS ARE ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON SCHOOL GROUNDS.
